Hola
Duende is Perth's first and original Spanish tapas bar. Since opening in 2003 we have served a Spanish tapas culture in warm, rustic surrounds.
We sit on the fringe of vibrant Leederville, in a spot that could easily leave you wondering whether you were in Barcelona, Seville or San Sebastian. Duende means having soul, a feeling you will get on every visit.
Open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday, we are the place for the casual catch-up, the important business dinner, or a group of family and friends celebrating, well, anything. Alongside an extensive list of local and imported wines, we pour a great choice of beers and killer cocktails.
Our team looks forward to seeing you, whether it is a first visit or your hundredth.

- A good, aged, well rounded red, I think.

- All the great people, our guests and our team. Get them together and we have a load of fun, with plenty of happy souls.

Owner- Why hospitality?
- I am from Spain, and we have always been surrounded by bars. It makes us feel at home, and there is nothing better than enjoying your work while making customers happy.
- A drink that describes you?
- Bourbon. Have it on its own for a quiet day, or add lemon, sugar and egg white for something fresh and fun.
- Best part of Duende?
- The team is the best. The food is amazing, the bar is beautiful, and it is the closest thing to Spain we can find in Perth.

- I love the constant challenge and the creativity it takes. Every day is a new chance to perfect an experience.
- A drink that describes you?
- Gin Tonica. It looks simple, but it is all about precise aromatics, quality ingredients and perfect balance, just like a great dish.

- Being part of a team that is not afraid to try new concepts and bring a true taste of Spain to our guests.
