Duende is Perth's first and original Spanish tapas bar. Since opening in 2003 we have served a Spanish tapas culture in warm, rustic surrounds, on the fringe of vibrant Leederville, in a spot that could easily leave you wondering whether you were in Barcelona, Seville or San Sebastian.
Open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday, we are the place for the casual catch-up, the important business dinner, or a table full of family and friends celebrating, well, anything. It is always best to book to make sure you get a spot.

From our open kitchen
Our open kitchen is the heart of the room, sending out an array of authentic Spanish tapas across lunch and dinner, Wednesday through Sunday. Cannot decide? Our Chef's Selection set menus make it easy: four courses for $75 per person, or five for $95, with a vegetarian version of both. Add a Spanish wine pairing for $45 or $55 per person. We are generally able to manage dietary needs and allergies, just let us know.

Wine with an Iberian accent, and killer cocktails
Our wine list is built around quality imported wines with an Iberian focus, alongside hand-picked drops from Western Australia and the eastern states. Spanish beers sit next to local specialty brews, the gin list runs deep, and the sherry covers everything from dry white to sweet dark. Drop in any day from 4 to 5pm for Happy Hour: $8 beers, house wines, bubbles and sangria.

Whatever you are celebrating, Duende is the place to gather. Plush booths, a covered alfresco space, and a chef's table for twelve right beside the kitchen, where you can watch it all happen and pair the meal with an amazing run of wine.
